A message from the BGHS administration

Hello BGHS students and families:

We hope that all of our students and families are safe and secure, and are doing their best to stay home. We continue to work with our district office to create plans for learning moving forward. The main purpose of this message is to share a few items:

  • The first thing we need families to do is make sure information in Skyward is up to date, and for students to check their school emails. Teachers are reaching out to their students this week to check in. Please be sure you are checking for those emails.
  • Additionally, please be sure to fill out the BGPS Technology Access form that was recently sent home. This will help us determine which students need assistance with technological needs.
  • The  Battle Ground Police Department has asked us to remind students not to gather in groups in parks or at local businesses. This is a very strange time in our country’s history, and we all need to do our civic duty. For now, that means staying home.
  • Similar to our summer meal program, children ages 0-18 can pick up a free and nutritious sack lunch and breakfast items each weekday between 11 a.m. and noon in front of all our primary schools, as well as at Amboy Middle, and BGHS and PHS.
  • Families that are absolutely unable to get to schools to pick up meals in person can request meal delivery to your child’s bus stop by completing the online request form. If you are unable to complete the form online, you may call the Meal Delivery Request Line at (360) 885-6614.
  • Nicole Bray is our BGHS food pantry supervisor, so please reach out to her with any needs. She can be reached at 360-624-5242, or she can be e-mailed at bray.nicole@battlegroundps.org.

Please be looking for further communications from both the Battle Ground Public Schools and Battle Ground High School. We really miss and love our kids, and look forward to this ending as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

BGHS Administration
