Congratulations Seniors!

Graduation is right around the corner! This is a time to celebrate all of your accomplishments but before that can happen, make sure you are ready to walk across the stage, on track to graduate, and take a look at the Key Dates for Seniors below for more information. Information regarding caps and gowns, submitting scholarship information, finals, commencement, grad night, and diploma pick-up can all be found here.

Remember that all fines and fees must be paid prior to receiving your diploma. They can be paid at the ASB windows or online at At graduation you will be receiving a diploma cover, the actual diploma will be available for pick-up June 14 and 15 by the flagpole in front of SMC.

Graduation commencement will look a little different this year than it has in the past. Graduation will take place June 11 7pm in the District Stadium located behind the high school. Graduates will be limited to four tickets due to space and COVID restrictions. For ADA reservations and ticket information please look out for an email that will be sent out to graduating seniors and their families, these reservations will be made online. Masks are required to be worn covering the mouth and nose by ALL attendees. Graduation rehearsal will happen the morning of June 11, attendance is mandatory, but those who cannot attend need to contact Mr. Gourde or Ms. Knight.

If you are a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID you will be unable to participate in graduation commencement. To ensure the maximum number of seniors are able to participate in the ceremony, the final day of school for seniors has changed. The last day for seniors is now June 2. As a result, final exams will be held June 1 periods 4-6 and June 2 periods 1-3.

If you are concerned about your graduation status, please contact your counselor as soon as possible.

For up to date information or changes please keep an eye on your email. If you have questions please contact Mr. Gourde or Ms. Knight.

Grad Night contracts are available in the main office, money should be submitted to the main office or mailed. More information can be found on the contract and on the BGHS Facebook page.
