Credit Recovery courses are available online to current 9th – 12th-grade students who want to recover courses they failed in high school.

Original Credit Courses are available to current 9th -12th-grade students to support on-time graduation. All courses are delivered through an online provider using Edmentum and Edgenuity platforms. These are Washington State approved online courses with certified teachers endorsed for each specific subject.

How do I take my final exam and earn credit?

Students must take a proctored final exam at the completion of each course. Final exams need to be scheduled by the student with the summer school coordinator for the week of Aug. 8-12, 2022. If students finish their coursework before the last week of summer school, they are welcome to test early, by appointment. The last week is reserved for finals and tutoring is not available.

The minimum score on the final to earn credit in the course is 60%. Two final exam retakes may be scheduled if necessary. After a third failed final exam attempt, the student will be re-enrolled in the class. No online content assistance is allowed during the final exam. Hand-written notes and printed study guides from the online class may be allowed as well as e-notes that students have taken during the course.

Students have up to three attempts to earn 70% on any unit quiz / test to progress. After three failed attempts, summer school staff must be contacted to reset the class during support hours.
