2024 High School Summer Original Credit Courses
Program Description
High School summer online original credit courses are available to current 9th -12th-grade students to support on-time graduation. Current 8th-grade students may register for WA State History. All courses are delivered through an online provider using Edmentum and Edgenuity. These are Washington State approved online courses with certified teachers endorsed for each specific subject. A report with final grades will be sent to the respective high schools for registrars to place on transcripts. If students prefer, they have the option of not transcripting the grade and credit.
To support on-time graduation, tuition is reduced for students who are behind in credit. The tuition is $50 for one .5 semester online course. Students who are not behind in credit may still register for courses at full cost, which is $150. Students have from the date they receive the online course in June until Aug. 16th, 2024 to complete coursework and the final exam. Final proctored exams are scheduled by appointment for August 12-16, 2024. Students will need to schedule their final proctored exam with Colleen Homola, Summer School Coordinator, by emailing Email Colleen Homola or calling 360-558-0621 Any questions about registration can be directed to Kelly Farah at Email Kelly Farah or 360-334-8261.
