Good afternoon, Tiger Families!
I’m writing to update you on today’s power outage. The issue has been resolved and the power is back on. Today’s early release will not need to be made up, and school will resume on the normal schedule on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The north wing will not have heat or air conditioning while we repair a unit that was affected by today’s events. We hope to have it repaired quickly. Thank you for your patience during this emergency. I am so proud of our students! They remained calm, and followed all adult directives.
We look forward to seeing everyone at school on Thursday!
Heather Ichimura, Principal

Rivalry Week gets real tonight as the Battle Ground High School Tigers face off in a home match against the Falcons of Prairie High School! Volleyball action gets underway at 7 p.m. inside "The Cage." (Please note: the broadcast of this game on BGTV 27 and Comcast has been canceled)
On Friday, the Falcons and Tigers face off on the football field at District Stadium. That game can be viewed on the BGTV 27 YouTube channel, as well as Comcast channels 27 and 29.
To provide a safe, enjoyable environment for students and families during athletic events at District Stadium, all primary and middle students must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older who will be responsible for the student(s) for the duration of the event. The adult cannot be a high school student. In addition, only clear bags are allowed into District Stadium. Students will need to leave all backpacks and bags that are not clear at home. The school district will not be responsible for any student bags that are lost, stolen or not allowed in the stadium. Please join us in keeping our athletic activities safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
